Realm of battle done

So the Unseen Shoppe recently acquired a Realm of Battle Board, which i volunteered to paint. Here are the end results:

 

I basecoated the entire board with a cheap black spraypaint, and then did a few layers of dark brown over it. i found a nice honey brown can, which then was used to highlight areas around the rocky bits. After  busting out my airbrush, i thinned down some grey paint and airbrushed all the outcrops. the entire board was drybrushed with a light brown, and the gaps in the rocks were airbrushed with thinned down black. i then highlighted the smaller rocks and skulls, painting then using the standard combination of washes and layers paints. for some extra detail i added small clumps of Lustrian turf in ares, washing them with earthshade.
For the hell of it i added blood into spaces that seemed appropriate. I'm happy with the end result.

So yes, I finished my Gorebeast Chariot. also magnetised the dude with the halberd so i could use him as a hero if need be.

Just need to fin d hi an appropriate head! i don't like the ones in the box so I'm hunting for the old Defiler heads.
