Permanency

Der metzgermeister...

It was in church that i heard it, coming down upon me not as a voice from heaven as would be expected, but instead as simple logic. It was beautiful, wondrous and strangely silent. and the best thing was, it was true.

Throughout our lives we exist, in the words of Maynard James Keenan from A Perfect Circle "constantly consuming, conquer and devour", and we toil perpetually through this existence, happily morose until we reach the black hole at the end. No matter what we did to get there, we reached it, and jumped in, whether it was head first or kicking and screaming, we all die. We will all dissappear; "Such is dust when falls upon sand" -D.Puth, 2001

nothing is permanent.

Nothing actually matters, unless we make it. or does it? Does it send out the warp scream that send billions of Astropaths throughout segmentum ultima, gothica or solar into convulsions? Does it make an effect large enough to satisfy my need for influence, or is it merely a beautiful image?

nothing is permanent.

the corporations raise their buildings and towers and just like thmonuments of ages past, will become nothing but words written on a scrap piece of paper. having no significance because no-one remembers.

nothing is permanent, but we never really wanted to be anyway...
